Role Overview

MD / DNB in Radiodiagnosis or DNB/DMRD in Radiodiagnosis, as applicable to the role and permitted scope of practice.

Valid registration with the applicable State Medical Council / National Medical Register, as applicable.

Relevant additional training or experience in CT, MRI, ultrasound, Doppler, or interventional radiology, depending on the position.

What You'll Do

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasonography, as per qualifications and hospital requirements.
• Analyse imaging findings and prepare accurate diagnostic reports.
• Correlate imaging findings with patients’ clinical history and available investigations.
• Communicate critical findings promptly to the treating physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to radiation protection protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols.
• Coordinate with radiology technicians, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions when required.

• Good clinical judgement and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare clear and timely radiology reports.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and digital imaging systems.
